About Us

Our association had its beginnings with Toronto colleges in May 1980. At that time it was known as the Metro Colleges Mathematics Association (MCMA). The need and popularity of the association has grown and in 1991 the association became the Ontario Colleges Mathematics Association (OCMA). In 1997 the OCMA became an affiliate of the American Mathematical Association of Two-Year Colleges.

Inform the membership of new teaching methodologies and the current needs for mathematics in industry.
